What fits at Pink Moon?

Pink Moon is rooted in the Pacific Northwest, with a little magic tucked into the moss.

We’re drawn to work that feels artful, curious, tactile, and unmistakably made by a human being—pieces with personality, evidence of the hand, and a point of view.

Our world is woodland and saltwater, moss and stone, a little weathered and a little wild. Think cabinet of curiosities rather than gift shop. Enchanted, but not costume-y. Beautiful, but not precious.

We love work inspired by forests, coastlines, mountains, fungi, native plants and wildlife, along with the botanical, celestial, folkloric, natural-history and subtly strange. Rich color, interesting texture, thoughtful materials, whimsy and a little darkness all have a place here.

Above all, we’re looking for original work with a voice of its own—the kind of thing you don’t expect to find everywhere else.

We’re proud to feature a substantial body of work by LGBTQ+ artists, and we keep a limited amount of space open for emerging artists who are still finding their footing in the gallery world. A long exhibition history isn’t a requirement here; work that belongs at Pink Moon is.
